Honest Food Garden is the home of practical, honest food gardening for real people. Here, I share ways to grow food with real-life restrictions, including limited money, space, and personal energy. I don’t want my physical challenges to stop me from gardening, so I’m exploring how to do things differently, including a more accessible garden design with raised beds that I hope will also keep the groundhogs from eating the garden plants! I’ll share honest reviews of what works and what does not. My garden is in Northern Illinois, zone 5b.
Who am I? I’m a 60+ year-old human, lifelong entrepreneur, former book publisher, and currently in my third year as a high school Business teacher. I’d rather teach gardening, so here I am!
